The Story Behind It All

In 2001 Journey Back in Time keeping with technology trends moved from their CD collection to our present online collections. The name Journey Back in Time remains, although the parent company is Journey Online.

This has proved to be a great move. It has given us the ability to add data to our collection instantly, and provide it to the thousands of teachers and students at their desk top.

The goal at Journey Back in Time has remained the same “Provide original material in a user-friendly manner,” We not only want students and educators to learn the past, we want them to experience it.

As always our collection is continuously expanding, it is our goal to provide material you will not find anywhere else, rare newspapers, books, articles and documents. And provide it any where at any time and at a reasonable price.

Because we digitize and provide the user with the original image there is little question of its authenticity. Most of the material you will find in our vast collection comes from our own archives and dates back from the 1900’s. Over the past six years we have made many additions to our site the National history standards, Lesson plans and scavenger hunts, text and Spanish versions, my article lists and collections.

The year 2007 will again bring new additions to Journey Back in Time with our Native American Collection, Our new image Gallery, Expansion of our rare book collection to include not only history but literature, poetry, children’s books classics and non-classics fiction and non-fiction books; it will be our goal to provide books from the past.
